Book Submissions
Poetose is open to submissions. Our fee-free submission period is in September.
Anthologies, novels-in-verse, prose poetry, narrative poetry, lyric essays, ars poeticas, works in list form, journals, handwritten works, manifestos, art books, chapbooks, cartoons, self-help, and other revolutionary, nontraditional endeavors of love are highly encouraged.
Of particular interest in no specific order are:
- Works of inspiration related to activism in a difficult world
- Works related to mental health
- Works on love and dating in the 21st century
- Works that promote love whether across politics, organizationally, or otherwise
- Works by singer-songwriters
- Works of prose by poets
- Works of poetic prose
- Works by individuals who identify as neurodivergent
- Works by previously incarcerated individuals
- Work on business and mindset
- Works that combine text and art
- Miniature works that may be published as small books
Poetose offers an advance and royalties with publication.
Simultaneous submissions are fine, but let us know if your work is accepted elsewhere.
We welcome unsolicited submissions from published and unpublished writers.
Unfortunately due to the volume of submissions we are unable to provide individual feedback.
