Interior, by Fractions

2/5/2024

by Jared Green
Picture

To see our bed from this angle,
divided by the door frame -

The cast-off clothing,
the unfinished novel, inverted -

The quivering wedge of light

proof that we have come this far -

Far enough to have
such sacramental things

as a bed, seen at an oblique angle
from the distance of another room.
